Now, let's have Korean Food Styles^^

Korean food is largely based on rice, noodles, tofu, vegetables, and meats. Traditional Korean meals are noted for the number of side dishes (banchan) that accompany steam-cooked short-grain rice. Kimchi, a fermented, spicy vegetable dish is usually served at every meal. Korean cuisine usually involves rich seasoning with sesame oil, doenjang (fermented soybean paste), soy sauce, salt, garlic, ginger, and gochujang (red chili paste).

Among Korean foods...This is my favourite^-^

Grilled Pork Strips

삼겹살

Samgyupsal is another popular Korean meat dish. It consists of thick pork strips, served in the same fashion as galbi but there is no marinating involved. Sometimes it is cooked on a grill with kimchi, mushrooms, garlic, onions and consumed together. This dish is usually served with a side of lettuce, spinach, or other leafy vegetable(s), which is used to wrap a slice of cooked samgyupsal. A dab of ssamjang (usually made of kochujang or dwenjang), kimchi, or other side dishes are also added and then eaten as a whole.

Ssam refers to various leaf vegetables which are used to wrap a piece of bite-size meat, along with dwenjang, kochujang or ssamjang paste and some rice into a bundle. The vegetables used for wrapping can vary but it primarily consists of fresh red leave lettuce, sesame leaves, or parboiled cabbage leaves. Other banchans can also accomodate the meat depending on the eater's preference and also what is available on the table. Usually, freshly sliced hot peppers as well as garlic bits are added for its bold flavors and tastes.

With its combination of rice, meat, vegetables and various soybean pastes, the wrap offers a balanced intake of necessary nutrients without the greasy aftertaste that is left by many forms of meat.

I like it ~ so nice~:)

Since I have been living in Korea, everything is new for me to know, see... this season is very nice and very beautiful season that i have ever been. It is my first time to have a chance enjoying this kind of season, but it is a bit cold~ and it will begin winter soon... Anyway i really enjoy staying with new environment like Korea :)

Jeju is the largest and most famous of Korea’s 3000 islands, a subtropical volcanic island alive with ancient legends and natural wonders. From most places on Jeju, one can see the soaring peak of Mount Hallasan (1950m), the highest mountain in Korea, which in spring is awash in a sea of blazing azaleas. At its summit lies a crystal clear crater, 700m wide called Baengnokdam, meaning “the water where white deer play.” Jeju island is famous for its hardy women divers whose ages range from early teens to well past sixty.

Me with beautiful view of sea side...:)

After swimming and relaxing, we took some crazy pictures (^_^)

Photo with shape of heart^^ :)

Staying in the motel during three days and two nights...

Fresh air in the morning, and going out to have breakfast...

Because of the relative isolation of the island, the people of Jeju have developed a culture and language that are distinct from those of mainland Korea. Jeju is home to thousands of local legends. The most distinct cultural artifact is the ubiquitous dol hareubang ("stone grandfather") carved from a block of basalt.

Beside this, we also have a chance to visit the huge garden of tea (green tea).

After enjoying with beautiful sea side, group photos before going back~!

This is my first time to have a chance visiting Jeju island during living in Korea, with my ASEAN friends and also my professors, and it was also my first time seeing sea and wonderful beach in my real life. It was very beautiful island than i expected, since i have never seen sea and beach, i was so happy and very enjoy playing in the sea such as playing games, swimming...etc. It was really nice and interesting.

If i have more chances, i'd like to visit here again...
You guys too, i'm strongly recommend to visit this place once you have a chance^^
